"Napa Autumn" 3 steps



These are the 3 major steps I used to paint this piece. I do not use this method all the time, but if you struggle with value it can be helpful. I blocked in the values with Burnt Umber, burnt siena and white using liquin to keep it fairly transparent. Once this underpainting drys then I blocked in color over the top.
