SOLD Etched With Age

Well, my blog and I are still at war this morning but it looks like it is going to let me post after a few trys and a very slow upload. Good news. I have been asked to be one of three judges for the 51st Art Annual, which is at the Mondavi Winery on Woodbrige Road in Acampo, Ca. in March.
Also my Jerrry gave me the radio/CD player that he did not use..YAAAH! My old one quit playing CD's and I had to tape the on switch on to get the radio to play...so now I am in the lap of luxury!!!!
Sad news, I have lost my figure drawing sketchbook so I will not be posting any of them on eBay. For the life of me I do not know where it is. Sometimes I think I am lossing my mind. We have been cleaning the studio for weeks...it is probably in a new place, I hope. I have a whole stack of nude really quick sketches on newsprint but I can not imagine anyone wanting them as newsprint paper is such poor quality. I could use feedback on that.
Etched with Age is a 25 minute quick study in oil for my quick studies class.Click Here To Bid

SOLD Sultry Lady

Well, today I stripped 6 portraits off the canvases with Easy-Off Oven cleaner. I figure if I do not think they are good enough for a bidder on eBay to like them, I should reuse the canvas. Enough saving things that are of no value besides, my work has gotten better since then. This is a 25 minute oil head study from my Quick Studies Class. Click Here To Bid

SOLD Kenny, Black Profile 3, pastel 18" X 24" Marilyn Eger

This is Kenny again. This drawing has much nicer color than this image. Doesn't he have a terrific face!!!! I have been doing some work for my MFA directed study but I am going to work on that more before I post any of that work. I have been using award ribbons as my subject. The colors are so beautiful and the flowing shapes are a challenge. To Bid on Kenny Click Here

Sold Kenny, Black Profile 2, pastel 18" X 24" Marilyn Eger

Oh, a really sad effect of the economy...the wonderful 20th Street Gallery in Sacramento, Ca. has officially closed. It was a wonderful gallery and Jim Ferry and his staff worked so hard for the community of Sacramento and the art community at large. They will be missed!!!

This was a quick study in pastel of Kenny Davis. He was a student of mine in 1993. He was a terrific person and a wonderful portrait model!!!!! Click Here to Bid
