In this one I am playing with reflections again. Once I began using the water puddles, many new ideas opened up. Just a reminder, the 20th Street Gallery in Sacramento is having it's Second Saturday opening this Saturday from 6 till 9. Come if you can. It is always fun.

Nausea

This pastel is about the nausea and altered mental state that chemotherapy has on the mind. No it is not a pretty picture, it is about suffering. This is the barn at the Lockford Inn, in Lockford, Ca. I am working on another angle of this barn for the Knowlton Gallery "Barn Show" in July.

This one is inspired by the Costa Cherry orchard after a rain. The 50/50 show is being rehung as we speak and will have a second opening on May 9th for second Saturday in Sacramento, Ca. Hope you can come if you live in the area. We are having liquid sunshine that we desperately need. Our well on the ranch is not working again...the 5th well problem we have had in 4 years. Out here the only water comes from our own wells.
