SOLD Sfumato Girl, conte drawing, 18" X12" by Marilyn Eger

She definitely has attitude. Sfumato is a technique for having the hair soften out into the background. It is an Italian word. I was working on some paintings for the studio tour this morning. I am trying to put finishing touches on some of my quick studies. I really like a lot of them but they were not quite done. Also I have been brainstorming a new still life idea. TO BID CLICK HERE.

SOLD Male nude back, Charcoal

I really enjoyed drawing these male nudes. I felt they were very tasteful and really like how the light plays on the skin. I had to make a few corrections to this one up at the top of the head...I originally made the head to big and I had to whittle it down to size. Click here to bid

SOLD Black Male nude from the back,

I hope this drawing does not offend anyone. I just love this drawing. It does not show anything that would be of questionable content. It was done for one of my Academy of Art classes and I really like this drawing. I am trying to find appreciation for all things, even when bad things happen. Even in the bad things there are lessons

"Egg Scale and orange wedges Reflected"

This is an 18" X 24" pastel. I have tried to leave the brush strokes in it. I have been long fascinated with the reflections in a mirror and how it could be used to convey time. Also the ribbons you get at show are so pretty, that I have been trying to decide how I can incorporate them into my work. Must go get my cup of coffee.
