Cannibal

The word cannibal in post colonial studies is not eating another human being but to take something from the dominant society and change it to fit the needs of the dominated people. I saw a documentary about the disappearing children of Sudan. It wretched my heart. The children leave there homes in the bush at night and go to the city to sleep under verandas and outside hospitals to keep from being kidnapped and killed at night in their villages.
